Our Commitments

We are committed to a long-term redevelopment of this important piece of Philadelphia history just as we have done in other cities across America.

In 2012 we conceived the initial vision to redevelop the 3300-acre bankrupt Bethlehem Steel Mill site in Baltimore, Maryland, which closed after 125 years of operation. In its place today stands Tradepoint Atlantic, a state-of-the-art tri-modal logistics complex that currently employs more than 8,500 people and helped to revitalize the local economy.

It is estimated that by 2025 it will account for as much as 1% of Maryland’s GDP. Of course, this type of transformation is not easy. There will be shared challenges along the way. We are here for the long haul and we look forward to serving as a good corporate citizen and an active community member.
